Dr. Alex Onishi, M.D., is a Bay Area native and graduated with highest distinction from the University of California, Berkeley. He then spent four years of medical school in Chicago at Northwestern University, and then completed his specialty training in ophthalmology at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Dr. Onishi is a comprehensive ophthalmologist trained to treat conditions such as cataracts, dry eye, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and macular degeneration through medical and surgical approaches.

Dr. Onishi’s hobbies include hiking, biking, weightlifting, and soccer. He also enjoys caring for his houseplants.
